3.5 Hour Pembrokeshire Island Cruise
Wildlife and Pleasure Cruises Pembrokeshire
Step aboard and head out along Pembrokeshire’s wild and beautiful coastline, where the islands of Skomer, Skokholm and Grassholm lie just offshore—home to some of the finest wildlife you’ll find anywhere in the UK.
This is a proper sea-going adventure, taking in all three islands in one unforgettable trip. We’ll cruise around Skomer and Skokholm, keeping a close watch for puffins (in season), razorbills, guillemots and shearwaters, while grey seals bob in the swell and porpoises slip quietly through the water. Then it’s further offshore to Grassholm, where thousands of gannets fill the skies and cliffs—an incredible sight (and sound!) to experience from the boat.
The crossings between the islands often bring a bit of magic too, with dolphins regularly joining us along the way.
What to expect:
- A full tour of Skomer, Skokholm & Grassholm
- Puffins and seabirds in season
- Close encounters with seals
- A good chance of spotting dolphins
- Spectacular island and coastal scenery
It’s no surprise this is our most popular trip—proper Pembrokeshire, at its very best.
- Puffins
- Guillemots
- Gannets
- Whales
- Grey Seals
- Dolphins
- Porpoises
- Tuna bait balls
Private Group Day Cleddau Cruises Pembrokeshire
Each Group cruise is tailor-made to suit your requirements. Below is an example of what we offer:
Take a cruise along the Cleddau estuary on a voyage of discovery. In the lower part of the estuary, we will be able to get up close to the multiple Palmerston forts. Watch the fascinating commercial traffic pass us by, which could include the largest LNG gas ships in the world. Heading up the Estuary, we will pass under the Cleddau Bridge, which towers 36 meters above us. Once under the bridge, we will leave the hustle and bustle of the commercial port and enter the tranquil and scenic upper reaches of the river around Burton and Lawrenny.
On large tides, it is even possible to reach Haverfordwest! There are multiple establishments along the Haven, allowing us to stop for a drink and a bite to eat.
