Diving in Pembrokeshire
Popular diving spots include Skomer, Skokholm and Middleholm islands, which form part of the Skomer Marine Nature Reserve: the only stretch of water in Wales to have Marine Conservation Zone Protected Status.
(Read more at naturalresources.wales/skomer).
The biodiversity in this area is magnificent, and the beauty doesn’t stop here: the waters around South Pembrokeshire (including the Smalls and the Haven waterway) have so many hidden gems in its marine environment!

Dive Sites
Our favourite spots are ‘Stack Rocks’ and ‘Hens and Chicks’ because they offer very scenic diving, and the opportunity to see some trigger fish whilst swimming through the gullies.
The waters around South Pembrokeshire are littered with wrecks, with around 350 to explore. Vessels that were bound for the Bristol Channel, Dublin and Liverpool made their landfall here in Pembrokeshire after potentially months at sea, but if they were unfortunate to arrive during a prevailing South-Westerly storm, they found themselves on a lee shore, and hitting the rocks became inevitable.
Although the most documented vessel is that of Lucy, which lies relatively intact 40m deep, our favourite wreck sites are the Greeko, located just off St Anne’s Head, as well as Behar and Dekotian, which are both found within the sheltered waters of the Haven.
Whether you are interested in exploring the marine life, visiting wrecks or cleaning up our seabed, Pembrokeshire has plenty of options and Pembrokeshire Boat Charters can accommodate all!

Fantastic couple of days diving. We were blessed with good weather and had a great mix of wrecks, reefs and seals. So many sites, and even options if the weather was bad, we’ll be back!

Thank you for organising the diving for me over the weekend, the diving was exceptional and Dave and Glyn were brilliant skippers and hosts, ensuring we had a good time and were well looked after. It was great to be on a boat with such a welcoming and experienced team. Really great service.
